Lizzie is a nurse that works in a busy Intensive Care Unit, and she is running a half marathon in September.

Lizzie says:
"I wish to raise money for ACE by completing this run. The reason I chose your charity is because of my own horse, whom I had named ACE.
Sadly I had to have him put down last September, after owning him for 17 years, and I want to remember him by raising money for the poor animals that you care for."

WOW!! ACE is one big, beautiful horse. Lizzie, that is wonderful that you ran a half marathon in his memory. What a great way to honor him and help the needy animals at A.C.E.
